I have a really nice black powder horn, but i do not like the strap its kind of a wimpy looking piece of leather. I have looked at a lot of different straps on ML but have not seen one that i really like. I did see one that was a woven type and liked it but i cant seem to find it again. I think it may have been in the pictures catagory. Getting old and suffer from crs syndrome.

7Days makes some nice woven straps, his maybe?

War Eagle, the burlap strapping that they sell for reupholstering chairs is wide, strong and authentic enough for most purposes. It's also real cheap. Try that for a horn strap.

Many Klatch

Three strands of 1/4" leather twist woven makes a nice do it your self strap.
