I got bit really hard after shooting a muzzleloader for the first time a few weeks ago, figured I needed a horn to to go with the rifle I made (soon to followed by appropriate attire and other essentials I'm sure).
Not sure how "pc" it may be, but this is what I came up with.
The tip was cracked by a previous owners attempt to drill this for a powder horn. So I cut the tip back past the crack, and carved a spout of black walnut. The cap and plug are from the same piece of wood, the cap was carved with a lip inside so 2/3 the thickness is inside the horn, I just matched the shape of the horn, wanted to keep it simple for the first time.

The tip and cap are epoxied in, so the brass tacks are redunant, but it didn't look right with out them.

I was thinking of a plain leather strap, but I'm open to something else. I don't know enough about other options.
