So there's an Antonio Zoli Zouave for sale on Gunbroker with a "buy now " price of $575. What attracted me was the aperture sight on it, but it also has the original sight in front of it, which is kinda weird. The rifle looks like it's in decent condition. Is it worth it?

I think it's a little high and you could add up to $50 for shipping to that + tax. There are a lot of Zoli Zouaves out there and the prices as well as conditions are all over the place but generally below that.

Seems a bit high.
I got one off GB about 3 years ago. It was IIRC 480 shipped and taxes. Thought that was a tad high but it was a 1975 unfired mint.

It sounds a bit high but with the supply of spaghetti repops not being replenished, maybe not if it's in excellent condition.

What I find interesting is your comment about an "aperture" sight. Many skirmishers remove the original leaves and put in a "L" and drill it for a aperture sight. It might be an old N-SSA skirmish gun. Some pix?

It's a Williams receiver sight.

$550, plus shipping, plus sales tax, plus GunBroker's 1% service fee means that Zouave will cost way more than $550.
Well, it's one of the least expensive ones on there and the new ones are like twice as much. I don't know where you guys have been seeing them cheaper. Plus there's this little thing called inflation, maybe you've been hearing about it lately.

There are 2 for sale on the N-SSA forum right now. Both look quite nice and are priced at $350 each. They are out there, just have to look. Zoli alone must have made a million of these things and they just don't seem to die.

There are no "new" Zolis. Zoli hasn't made "Zouaves" for over 20 years. Besides, it's an 1863 Remington Contract replica.

I was talking about Zouave reproductions in general, not just Zolis.
It is amazing how long that Zouave has remained in production. Maybe it's popularity is similar to the 2-band Enfield ? The overall size and weight fit better with old-timers (like me !) than the full size muskets (?). I purchased my Navy Arms marked Zouave back in the late 1960's. That gun was sure accurate - till the day I needed glasses. LOL

There's one on gunbroker now looks new & has a $450.00 buy now price on it. five days left on the listing.

Somebody adding weird sights to these for hunting kills it for me.

You can find clean, unaltered Zoli Zouaves for $5-600 .

A new Pedersoli Zouave will run about $1200 . For that price you might as well look for a well taken care of Parker-Hale 2-bander.
