Howda stock

Anyone here see the Howda Shoulder stock at Cabilas? Do you plan to get one?

Making a trip there next week, so I plan on at least looking. It's a little pricey for an albeit neat accessory that I probably wouldn't use much. I want to see if the attachment method would damage the finish with use.

The shoulder stock "Will" mark up the wood. I don't know if you can see this picture in the link below but here it is anyway. After the picture of the stock loads loads then click on little picture on the right with the pistol mounted to the stock then Zoom in on the connection points.

If you glued some felt to the contact area of the metal band, I wonder if that would help? It does appear it would leave a mark.

I want one, but not at that price.
