Just signed in on the advice of a good friend and it looks like a lot of wisdom is shared in this forum. I shoot a Southern poor boy flinter .50 cal and a Brown Bess and love to hunt and travel in the primitive fashion: afoot, horseback or dugout canoe.

Welcome aboard Denny,

I don't know where Western Iowa is exactly, but I hear that it is just across the big creek east of my state of Nebraskaland. I live between Peter Sarpy's Post and Fort Atkinson.

You'll enjoy the forum and contribute when you can!
