Howdy All,

I've been wanting to get into traditional b p for a long time, and recently decided to make the jump.
Currently I am in the research stage for my first b p rifle , to hunt Elk and deer next year.
( I figure a year of plinking should get me familiarized with a new gun, for better shot placement etc)
I had a Remington 1858 years ago, and shot 1000's of rounds through it. I loved it.
I've also competed in quite a few cowboy action shoots, and have trained my horse for mounted shooting.
So I know a little about bp , but rifles , twists, bullets are all new.
I'm excited to learn, and proceed with my new endeavor.

Hey Dusty, Welcome to our forum my friend! We are truly honored that you've decided to join our ranks. I have a lot of family scattered throughout Montana and Wyoming. I'm originally from Cody Wyoming myself.
