Where in North Carolina are you?
The Southeastern Rendezvous is coming up Oct. 19-26 near Yadkinville. It would be a good place to start getting your feet wet. With very few exceptions, the folks who attend events like this will be happy to tell you anything they know. We were all new once upon a time,

Depending on how much you trust Map Quest it will be something under a three hour drive. That might sound like a lot, but it'll be around eight for me.

Hi Kerri,
I used to live right off of 421 in Lewisville. If you can make the event in Yadkinville you'll love it and learn a lot. I know I did.
