Howdy ya'll!!
I'm brand spanking new to this muzzleloader thing. Matter of fact, I haven't even finished my Traditions .50 Kentucky percussion rifle kit yet, but it's coming together nicely and expect to fire its first shots this weekend. I was given a similar kit (CVA) back when I was in the Marines in 89, but didn't have the tools or smarts yet to build it. I ended up trading it for a set of dress blues, lol.
Welcome from the rocky coast of Maine! Maybe there's hope for my son, a Cpl in the Corp, who is only lukewarm to muzzle loaders... a work in progress! I'm a fairly new member myself and long time collector of things that go BOOM. You've landed in a great spot!
