I have been shooting BP since 1973.
I started with a High Standard Griswold and Gunnison .36 way back when you could buy one in New Jersey without permission from the state.
Did some buck skinning up until I started riding my Harley more. Just not enough time to do it all.
The safe queens are Signature Colts. Shooter are Lyman Plains in .54 cap n ball and a Zouave in .58 of course. I wish I still had my SILE .54 Sharps which I sold for about $150 a long time ago.
I still shoot some single shot cap and ball and a Queen Ann flint. Some others with no markings in .45 and .44
I found the forum while searching for some information on a second generation 1858 Colt in it's presentation case which I traded off.
Gone but not forgotten.

Steve! Welcome from a retired IBEW journeyman electrician. Hope to hear more from you.
