Hi,

I hope this isn't too far afield from 'traditional' to post here, but I wonder if anyone has tried the Howell or Kirst conversions for BP revolvers to shoot .22LR?

We are not allowed to discuss conversions or any form of cartfidge gun on this site. I suggest you go to some of the cowboy action shooting or cap & ball revolver forums and ask.

You are absolutely right hawkeye2.
Any discussion of conversion cylinders or other revisions to alter the acceptable guns for forum discussion into something that can use modern ammunition is against the rules.
