A new haversack style forage bag I handmade, inspired by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrement. The body of the bag is period correct wool, fully lined and has an interior pocket. It was hand-stitched with natural linen beeswaxed thread. The flap is veg tanned leather, incised and hand painted with an early American folk art / Hudson Bay Company motif. The strap in a heavy woven jute webbing. The bag measures 11 x 13 with a 54” strap. This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as beautiful wall hanging decor.
