Any of you fellas ever see a knife from cold steel I believe it was called a Hudson Bay knife?

I have the "scalper " version from cold steel/hbc threw the sheath away---junk leather to me. great steel, i took mine used acid to remove the hbc etching, removed the wood scale handles and replaced with last years elk stubs, added just the right amount of weight to make it perfect for me. Ive pryed, skined, butchered, dug, hammered with it...one of my favorite blades.

I dont think they are in production any more at least from cold steel, if you find one might want to grab it up, a few years ago i think i paid around 25$ for it NIB at a gun show....

Yep! The Red River blades are basically the same as the Green River blades. However they are a bit longer in the blade, and have a small notch between the handle and cutting edge of the blade. The blades I have seem like they'll make up into pretty fair knives once I get the handles on them. I don't know if Cold Steel sold the blades handless normally, but that's the way I got 'em. Stole them off ebay, the best deal I've ever made there.
