Well I got a Ram Hunt booked next week.Thinking of using my 54Cal. Hawken with Patch and Ball.

Anyone ever eat Old Ram? Oh well nothing a few Brews won't take care of. :winking:

Well, the only thing I know about ram hunting is what I've see in hunting magazines with a ram a mile away on another mountain...but assuming you're hunting with open sights there has to be another side to the story...what kind of terrain will you be hunting in?
 
To Get in shape for the hunt you are about to embark on.

I would recommend getting into shape by........

Superglue your lips and nostrils shut and leave a soda straw hole to breathe through.

Then run 10 miles a day with your pack and rifle.

Then, barely will you have a glipse of what it will be like.

Well I guess he'll have to take me with him cuase thats how it is where I hunt.Somebody has to pack his carcas out. :haha:

Its on a Ranch,rolling Hills,Blinds looking over Feeders.Hunted Hogs there last year,didn't do too good on that.Got a small Gilt.

There was plenty of Rams around,but I didn't want to pay the $$

When I was young and into Photography I followed a herd of Bighorns around for a month in Colorado.That was fun.
