Heres a pic of the blind and surronding area. Ohio's Muzzleloader season for deer finally opened today and someone forgot to tell the little critters to show up......... :cursing: :cursing: :cursing: :cursing:

Looks good! Do you sit with your back to the tree, or do you peek over the top of the logs? :hmm:

Good luck...filled all my deer tags from 3 ground blinds this year...I personally like to sit on the ground (cushion) leaning against a tree (cushion) with my legs stretched out...much more comfortable for me and a solid as a rock position to shoot from

Hopefully, you are back out there after them. I plan to be afield tomorrow in Ohio as well.

Good luck

Good place, seems to be successful. I bet the deers will come from the right side out of this thicking.

Nice setup,
I find I need a complete surrounding of Camo while on stand on the ground.A pile of BRUSH ON BEHIND you is just as important as the pile in front of you.I find that of the sun is on your back and there is no camo there to break it up that it lights you up like the 4th of July to the Deer. But of course...That is just what I find. :hatsoff:

Me too. Especially when they come out right on top of you. At close range deer see every movement. I'd go so far as to say that taller-than-you cover behind you can be more important than cover in front of you.
