Hunting TV show

[Black Hand]

Hello All,
A heads-up for those of you that have satellite or digital cable. The Elk Country Journal will be airing an episode entitled "Ancient Skills" that is an episode showing hunting from the "primitive" side using Traditional Flintlocks and gear.

It will be airing on the Versus Network on Tuesday March 6 at 830am (Mountain time) and Thursday March 8 at 800am (Mountain time).

They came and filmed myself and 7 other friends on a weekend scout/squirrel hunt. This Scout was done entirely with primitive gear and a mixture of mostly tradeguns with a rifle thrown in. It is set in Montana just a few miles outside of Missoula on February 3-4 of 2007.

It will be 2 hours ahead of us here in Montana
1000am Tuesday and 1030am Thursday.

did ya know??? that a satalite dish will NOT work thru a snow drift?????? at or near 9 a.m. this morn i peered out my window and saw a drift higher than the tv dish..turned on the tube...SNOW so hopefully the show will be on thursday..and the snow won't..still gotta move the snow :cursing: gee that'll be fun! wonder how long that will last? wind is awesome!!!!!!WOW!

Y'all need to move to Arizony, they keep the same time all year long. Confuses the heck out of Californios whenever they travel that way, half the time they gotta reset their watches and the other half they don't. :rotf:

well Slamfire, they done moved it up 3 whole weeks this year and heeerd rumors they weren't gonna play that game anymore..no jumped ahead no settin back,just natural ole time...be okay with me!why i gotta get up at 4am to go huntin a first light when i can get up at 5 an go huntin at first light?..an get back ta camp at 6 instead of 5............works fer me!
