The Queen Anne Pistol . I think Dixie has one made by Pedrosoli. Have anyone of you owned one? Advice, comments suggestions?

Do you like the looks of the gun or for or the turn-off, loading design, where you unscrew the barrel, load the breach with the powder and ball, and return the barrel to the action? I like them for the latter, as it's a cool feature, but alas I think the Pedersoli version is a simple muzzle loader, without even the full metal action....

Dave I like both features. Me thinks its a nice looking piece. What do you think Dave worth ones time and expense?

The Pedersoli Queen Anne is not a screw barrel pistol and yes it lacks a metal frame. It's basically a conventional muzzleloading pistol with Queen Anne styling. I bought one 30+ years ago. At the time Track of the Wolf had a replacement set of the main and frizzen springs. I fitted them and reworked the lock. It shot well but the frizzen and hammer relationship wasn't perfect. It went off but could have used some adjustment there. Is it worth the time and expense? That's up to you.
