I picked up, what I believe is a Nepalese Brunswick w/ sword Bayonet, its hard to tell exactly, the guy i got from says it is a brunswick British Infintry1837 groove bore rifle musket, the nipple measures,

, 8-1.25mm metric thread, 1/4" square lug Cone length: 0.475" Thread journal length: 0.275" Overall length: 0.750" Diameter of base: 0.290" +-
except for the base Diameter at 0.29, its the same as this one,
Nipple , 8-1.25mm metric thread, for Davide Pedersoli & Euroarms Italian replica Enfield muskets, Euroarms .451" AH Volunteer rifle, musket cap, hardened steel, 1/4" square lug Cone length: 0.475" Thread journal length: 0.275" Overall length: 0.750" Diameter of base: 0.370"
funny part about the nipple it looks like it was turned/ back in the day, made to take #11 caps not musket caps, musket caps are to large,
I also purchased an original P-1853 Enfield type Nipple threw IMA, to compare also, and of course the one above threw track of the wolf, these don't fit though, both similar measurements, except for the.290 measurment

the barrel ID at the Muzzle measures approximately 0.67 +-, Barrel length 43.50" to the breach, Over all length measurs 52",smooth bore, rifling was machined out or never existed, the ID of the barrel is an unusual dia. I have .68 RD Ball doesn't fit, and .67 RD Ball fits tight , bought some .662, they fit but might need to be smaller to accommodate a patch , upon cleaning this i removed shards of glass out of it, the largest one measures 14.73MM long x 5.61mm wide x 2.18 thick, has anyone ever run into this glass thing before, i bought it to shot it, i gave 300.00 for it, looking for information of any kind to help me out

Thanks Much

on the british military forums an informative responce from a memeber as follows, Definitely Nepalese. The bore size on these smoothbores is usually .65, so a patched .640" ball should work OK. The nipple threads were individually cut, so quite a bit of variation. On the one I had, the threaded portion was smaller than the standard musket nipple thread size of 5/16" so we redrilled & tapped the hole to accept a standard British 5/16x18 Enfield nipple.

A standard load would have been right around 65gns of Fg or FFg. There's no reason why you couldn't load this musket with shot or ball, as you wish, & that 65gn load would be a god starting point for either. Once you confirm your bore diameter, you can order a mold of the appropriate size from Tanner Moulds in the UK, they are very reasonably priced & service is quite fast, in my experience.

I also, bought a .640 mold from tanner molds, decent price, even with shipping,
