I want to make a shot snake.

Hi,I want to make a shot snake.I dont want to buy the brass part that lets the shot out.Can anyone tell me something that might work in the end of the bag.I have thought of deer horn with a plug.A copper or brass tube.a bamboo tube.I really would like something with a release button.Thanks,squib

My shot snake has a brass top with the scoop incorporated into the top. You might look at Treso to see if they have what you are interested in.

How about a copper pipe reducer and the associated end cap?
Super cheap and pretty period correct.

make a spout out of cow horn...like a powderhorn
and a stopper. just drill the hole much bigger than a typical horn and groove it so you can fit your leather over it tightly and wrap it.
