Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
IDK. But there is something “off” with it.
The metal looks force-aged throughout. And what’s going on with the barrel? Looks like metal eating worms got to it. And the front sight looks lower than the front of the (irregularly) swamped barrel front, so aiming with it isn’t possible.
Tourist production?
The barrel itself looks like a casting rather than a forging. Even the hammer screw looks like a casting. My best guess is that this is a tourist type pistol where the metal parts became rusted and then chemically cleaned. Probably from the 1950/60's.
I don’t know, looks real to me. A little too much detail for a wall hanger. Can you take it apart carefully and post pictures of the underside of the barrel and the lock?
