Identify this tang

This cool hooked breech percussion tang is part of a collection of parts assembled by a member here, who sold me his rifle “kit”.
Because I’m going to make his gun into flintlock and not percussion, I’m looking for the flint version of this tang. If such a thing was ever made historically, or commercially produced in modern times.
The casting lines are quite visible on this, as it was once made commercially in some numbers, and yet my internet searches yield nothing about it.
Can someone identify who made or sold this tang? My goal is to find out if they ever made a flintlock version. Thank you and Happy New Year to all

It does indeed have an attachment for a flip up peep sight. It’s what I want. This is contoured to fit a percussion patent breech, and I imagine it can be filed or ground off to fit a flintlock. But if a flintlock version were ever made…might be able to find out by knowing who made this one?
