Your question about the Paterson....I have 2 Pietta's and I love them. 1, the one I shoot' is a low serial number that Navy Arms says dates to the early to mid 60's. Other than a couple of stuck nipples I have had no problems and would recommend a Pietta. The 2nd one is a cased gun (mold, capper, cleaning rod, 5 spout powder flask, spare cyl in a nice felt lined case)and I just let that one collect dust.
