I'm looking for 12- #10 and 12- #11 percussion caps, not to shoot, to use in a display box that I will have a couple Pepperbox guns in. Obviously I'll pay for the caps and shipping and handling. Also would like to have 6-8 used (shot) percussion caps included. Any info would be helpful. THANKS

Thanks guys but I’ve been to every gun shop and outdoor gun range here in Hampton Roads.
I live in Virginia Beach, Va.
I would like to get about a dozen (12) or more of Spent/Shot caps also. Do either of you use #10 or #11 caps??
Like I said before I expect to pay for them and postage also.

Would deactivated caps work for you?
I don't know exactly how somebody should go about deactivating the priming compound but I know the stuff sometimes falls out of caps when they get old enough. Perhaps warm soapy water would work in place of humidity and time. Beats me.

Sure deactivated caps would work also. Problem is I haven’t had any luck yet finding anyone locally that shoot percussion pistols.
The shooting ranges here don’t allow percussion shooting inside indoor ranges. We have one (1) outdoor range but no luck there yet. Still working that angle.

Are you in the UK ?you might Google up' Muzzle loaders Assn of GB' you should be able to buy No 11 or no 26 caps or musket top hats but this leaves you with a unneeded surplus but until you find some shooter to buy them off you .
You at least have caps ... as far as I recall no liscence to buy caps . Be lucky .

Rudyard, the NRA doesn’t sell decent caps. I don’t know where most MLAGB members get theirs. I bite the bullet and pay Zoran Krank the 20 quid ‘dangerous goods carriage‘ charge. ☹️ But at least he doesn’t ask to see my ticket like the (expletive deleted) NRA. Odd that those guys on the other side of the pond have difficulties.

We have four local gun stores in this secluded part of Cambs, all of whom sell Remington, CCI or RWS caps. I stock up on those for my ROA by buying as many as they have in the store - sometimes ten tins, sometimes twenty - they soon get used, especially on a guest day where we frequently get through 96 shots.
Counting the capping-offs beforehand, that's more than one tin right there. Musket caps are harder to find - but with a lot of folks in our club also BPC shooters, and Peter Starley not that far away, there is always somebody heading over to his store who can get me some. Right not I'm fine - I have eight tins of 'em - with 250 in a tin... :)

Dear Bisley John The owners name is Zoran but the Krank part is from when it was' Henry Krank' part of Longstaffs three shops viz Longstaffs , Pheasant Valley, & Henry Krank . Zoran bought the Krank part and made it what it is today ..Odd NRA are funny about caps & Kranks have to stick' dangerous goods' nonsence on caps . Zoran used to buy broken or faulty India muskets from the Krank part I bought these and made them into good serviceable guns, duly proofed most going to the US . My own re enactment much modified' Coronels purchase' musket was made up of three broken guns but it served me well . .Re the inert caps sought surely some shooter near your home will have a few caps or shops to sell you a tin ? .
Regards to all Rudyard
