I saw some really neat Native American pipe bowls on ebay. What kind of wood is used to make a stem? Is the stem pressure fitted into the pipe? There was a real nice one for $1600.00, I wont be getting that tho..
Thanks-Flint50

Most of the Eastern pipes I've seen have a cane stem insterted into the pipe. Western and Great Lakes pipes tend to be more of wood, like ash.
