Location : I live in the Missouri Ozarks,in the middle of nowhere,in a Amish,Mennonite comunity.I'm 50 miles from any place I can get what goods I need. But I was there yesterday Lowes looked good as far as Canvas, went to Army Surplus, lots of good stuff there mainly looked at Wool Blankets they had all kinds you could think of.There is Springfield Leather Company down there, use to be Tandys.

Interest Level : Mom always told me I was born 100 years too late.Wife teases me about when I go into the Woods I try eating the woods up.I love Trapping,Muzzleloader Hunting,Fishing and Foraging.

Camping Experience :Spent one year Camping in the Rain and Snow, got to where it was normal routien to set in the Rain around the Fire.Spent the first Winter in this Cabin,no insulation,it was so cold bring wood in with Snow on it,set it by the Stove next morning it would still have Snow on it.went to sleep one night,my feet slip out from under the covers,my socks froze to my feet.

That is what my wife is worried about on me sleeping outside, she says I'm not young as I use to be.I have Arthritis bad,and a few other Health problems, and she has seen me not be able to get out of bed much less off the ground.

My Ancestors came from South France, through England around 1760,came to Virginia, then to Kentucky,to Kansas, then here to Missouri in 1876.They owned Slaves, who kept our name after being freed. Some fought for the South durring the Civil War.Most then contiued to Farm in Central Missouri until present day.If any of this helps.

Well thats me figure out what we can do with what we have.
