I've purchased 2 of Wade's fine little underhammer pistols (both in 32 as I am a paper puncher) and they are well made and well mannered arms. All calibers are available in various barrel lenghts and both flinters and percussion pieces. He has a very complete sight at http://www.lx.net/wadeingrham/muzzlelo.htm

Checked out the sight but didn't see any prices. May I ask how much you payed for your pistols?

Thanks

Don

I, too, have just ordered an underhammer pistol from Wade. Talked to him on the phone yesterday and I can't begin to tell you how accomodating he is. It is almost like getting a custom target pistol at far, far less than what a well known supplier is asking for the LePage or Mang repro's. Tell him what barrel style (octagon or octagon to round), barrel length, caliber and type of sight you want and he's right on it. Figured mine will be done in about 2-3 weeks. He said that he will test fire the pistol and e-mail the target pic and a pic of the pistol to be sure that I am happy BEFORE I send him the money. Oh, and did I mention that he supplies, at no extra cost, a first rate wooden loading stand with each pistol.

They sound and look good. Could either of you ballpark the price you paid?

Since he does not list the prices of his underhammer pistols or rifles on his website I feel that perhaps I shouldn't state them in a public forum either. However, feel free to e-mail me at "[email protected]" and I will respond privately. Or better yet, e-mail him. His address is listed on his site. The prices are dependent upon the options you choose. Sorry for the inconvenience but I'm sure you understand.
