Whats the proper way to install a touch hole on my Fusil? I've heard people say it is not hte sort of thing to do on your own, but then again, how hard is drilling a proper size hole??
I've done everything else on the gun by my own hand, and would hate to have to have some professional gun smith install a tiny, yet important, hole. So whats the correct way to do this? Note: I DON'T want to install one of those screw in vent liner things, just a plain and simple touch hole. Thanks!!

Then keep it simple. Drill a, your choice, 1/16", or 5/64" hole in the barrel. I would recommend the 5/64" since you do not want a liner. Drill it center of the pan longitudinally, and no lower than dead level with the top of the pan. Many believe you get better ignition if you spot the hole where you will end up with the bottom of the hole even with the top of the pan. If you opt for this position, be sure that the frizzen will cover it when closed. It is not rocket science.
