Was looking to getting into doing shows with my friend and his dad but need to buy a lot of stuff to do it with them

I haven't been there, but I believe the Fair at New Boston at George Rogers Clark State Park in Springfield in September has many "sutlers" to choose from. You might keep a look out for that.

I am a little confused as to what you mean by "doing shows" - are you looking to buy gear or to be a vendor? As Asher mentioned, there is the Fair at New Boston near Springfield, OH which is a very nice juried market fair focused on the 1790-1815 period. Mrs Coot & I have been setting up there for several years but the field is like a rock & I regularly bent 6-8 steel stakes (1/2" square stock) & now faced with a bad heart, I doubt if we will go this year. Lots of good vendors & food - I will miss it.

No I want to start to reenact or what ever where they shoot the old muzzleloaders and stuff

The Fair at New Boston is a period correct market fair at a historic site. As mentioned, it is focused on the 1790-1815 time period, but many vendors have gear that covers a wider range. There is no live firing at this event - it is a place for vendor sales, food & entertainment and demonstrations. If you are looking to buy gear & to see what outfits from the period look like, by all means go. If you are looking for a place to shoot or to participate in competitions, this is not it.
