Jacobsburg, bad news

Anyone planning to attend or day trip to the Jacobsburg event in NE Pa the end of Oct. Last word has that it's been canceled. No one stepped up to run it and rumor has it there has been a falling out of some sort among top level folks involved.It may be just a rumor but its a preety good sorce.There is still hope but time is running short. This sucks as I really liked the fall event up there. Just to far away for me to offer n really don't have the time. I know, sounds like an excuse buuuut it ain't. When ever I hear something more I'll post it YMHS Birdman

This really sucks. I really look forward to this one all year. Even though it is small its my favorite. You know just about everyone at this one. It is a shame about this.

hey Frosty, from what I've heard there will be a letter sent out with questions on it asking how ya feel about the event and ideas ya may have about different things concerning the event. You like me really enjoy this particular event. Please answer the questions when ya get the letter n mail it back as will I. Anyone else on this forum if you were on the Jberg mailing list ya should be getting the questionaire, PLease answer it n send it back. Maybe we can pull off a miricle of sorts n keep it happening. Maybe not for this year but for next n after. If I hear anything more I'll post it so everyone can be on the same page with info. Thanks guys YMHS Birdman

Yep, it's official. I went to my first one this past summer and enjoyed it. Wasn't going to be able to make this one, but it's sad news.
