Just thought I'd share. I just put this together today. It was a Hanger that they sold at atlanta cutlery a few years back (they still may.) I took off the handle and guard, Made a new guard from a casting that I got from Track of the wolf, Brazed it on, and used a butt section from a shed antler for the new handle.

It's a little long. I may shorten it.

It seems to take an edge pretty good. I sharpened it up about a year ago, then went out and cut a bunch of limbs on a corkscrew willow tree with it. It maintained the edge fine, and in fact is still sharp. I did a rough edge on it with a fine file, rather than honing it with a stone.

It's 24" hilt to tip.
Thanks!

Hedge clippers will never catch on!

Looks like nice sword, now put it away before you hurt someone!
