Ok now I got my Jaeger kit, and I have cooled down. I am starting the work... first the trigger and lock area, Oops no the tang... OH damn here we go... any suggestions
Thanx loyalistdawg

I'm assuming you got the barrel?
If the tang is not with it, first off you need to call the vendor you bought the kit from and get that going.

If this is a "pre-inlet" stock, the barrel still will need to be inletted into the wood. Especially the breech area where excess wood is usually left because the cutters can't cut a sharp inside corner.
Most of the pre-inlets I've made also need to have the barrel channel width increased so the barrel fits easily in place.
This needs to be done before you make the mortice for the tang anyway because until you know where the barrel is, you won't know where the tang goes.

There! That ought to give you something to do for an hour or two.
