I just received my first Jeff Tanner mold in .600. I never used a brass mold before and I want to know if there is any special care that I should give this mold? The mold really looks great and I hope to keep it looking that way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Only thing I can add is to not get it too hot to warp it, and after your casting secion you leave a ball in it too keep it in round. bb75

when using any brass or aluminum molds, you want to be extra carefull as they will get a ding or nick real easy,if you damage the parting surfaces, the size of the ball will be increased and you notice a little harder loading.I have one J.T. mold and it does a real good job.
