I am the "newbie" at my gunclub, but for the demonstrations (flintlock arms) for non members, I am called to show up with my Trans rifle with a Chambers "Early Germanic" lock.

It is not my building skills, by any stretch of the imagination, I am shooting with folks that have been building for decades, it is the lock.

I cannot say enough about it.

:)

By the way...the target stand is at 25 yards....gotta' be sure I hit something for the demo, just in case anyone starts a lookin' for holes.

Target at 25 yds?.......Buck and ball old chap! :winking:
I'm so pleased you got such a good lock!Getting a good one is more than half the battle.
Congrats, and have a good shoot!!
