John Baird

Do any of you boys know what happened to John Baird--he put out the Buckskin Report and wrote "The Hawkin Rifle, The Mountain Man's Choice" about 1968.

 

He's "back east" sumwher's, I use'ta have his address but I cain't find it now!! Fella by tha name'a John Hiviant(sp) is look'n fer'im too!!

If I ever find John's address, I'll let'cha both know!! :thumbsup:

I've wondered the same thing. I have most of the Buckskin Report magazines that were published (it was a great magazine), and even an original "National Association of Primitive Rifleman" shoulder patch.... NAPR was the sponsered organization of the magazine.

 

If I remember right John's home on the East Coast burnt down in 1993 or maybe 1994, lost quite a bit of stuff, I think it was in North or South Carolina.
