If there has been an increase in media attention to muzzleloaders, it hasn't been obvious in my neighborhood.

I think that any attention in the news media is bad for muzzle loaders. No matter what the story is, if it has to do with guns, they'll get it all wrong. As Thomas Jefferson once said, "The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers."
