Yesterday, after much thought, I bought a Uberti Remington style .36 cal revolver. I am really excited about this, as you can well imagine. They had 3 or 4 different .36 cal guns, and this one just fit my hand the best, so that's the one I got. I hope to use it for small game hunting as well as targets. Pistols have always been my favorite, but this is my first black powder pistol and I love it.
I got it at Dixon's, and they were great to deal with. They helped me out getting the right size round balls, cleaning rod, etc. and gave me a quick lesson on takedown. Great place if you are anywhere near Kempton, PA go there you will not regret it.

Oh you've done been bitten by the bug, you might as well resign yourself to your fate, once you get a whiff of burnt BP you'll be addicted for life. :haha: Welcome to the club!

Welcome Shadow to the forum.
Uberti makes one of the best revolvers on the market. Excellent choice.
