LOL You're asking US? I wanna see what YOU ordered and now we ALL have to wait...

:_(

I suppose many of us sorta know, but STILL...

Waiting is always the hardest part, did you order a kit or is it a finished gun?

Now thats good lookin! Thanks! Mine is a parts set also. I haven't recieved it yet. Can't wait!

Sir, that is a very nice gun you have there  . What model lock is on your rifle? I sure do like the way it contours (flows) back into the wrist.

Here is the stock. Pretty nice!!

I built the Type D tradegun from TOTW about 5 years ago. I got the steel furniture. I'm glad it was not my first build as parts of it are tricky. I had to heat, bend, and hammer the trigger guard to get it to fit the pre-inlet - out of the box it wasn't even close. I also ordered the stock without the lock pre-inlet so I had complete control over the lock placement. It turned out nice and it shoots very well. My only complaint is the barrel doesn't taper beyond the wedding band. It's the same diameter all the way to the muzzle. Still, it handles quite nicely and it's one of my favorite flintlocks.
