Traditions .32 Crockett pistolfor $150 out the door thats about what it would be from midsouth, basspro has them for $189. I went to find a rifle but all he had was the pistol, so I figured mite as well start the collection now. I'm getting rid of most off my modern firearms I'm going back to mostlly traditional type of firearms, I guess its a life style change. I want to teach my boys the basics of shooting instead of giveing them a gun with a scope on it that just about anyone can kill with. Do I need a speacil ball starter for the .32 or are they pertty easy to load with just starting the ball with my knife handle and then the ram rod?

if it is like my crocket rifle. I use the handle of my patch knife to start the ball then use my ram rod to set it on my powder.

I admire your philosophy concerning your boys but better hang onto a few of them firearms, they might not be able to buy them when they need them!

If the .32 rifle shoots as good as the pistol I'm going to have to get one. This thing is real accurate at 25yrds. Its a blast to shoot. Reloading was kind of tricky tell I came up with a way that is good for me. Can't wait tell snow and water dry up some to get out and get some tree rats.
