I'm thinking of taking my new "old" shotgun to the show this weekend to have it checked out by Mike Lea per the advice of a fellow member. My questions are:
1) can I bring the gun in with me without any prior permissions or do I need to make special arrangements?
2) is this an inside or outside event? Or a combination of both?
3) Is this event kid friendly? I am thinking of bringing my nine year old daughter with me because she is really interested in things like flint and steel fire making, blacksmithing, weapons of any sort, etc.

It will be a 90 minute drive for us, so I would like to be somewhat prepared. I have already gotten all of the info available from the website. Thanks

It's indoors. Great show. Take your daughter. I'd call first, but if you don't reach him, take the gun anyway. Leave your wallet and credit cards home. graybeard

You can take your muzzleloader in with you, they will check it at the door and put an I.D. tape on it then you can carry it around with you, its a real good show and your daughter will have a good time.
