All it takes is going to one (KY is in the NRLHF's Old Northwest rondyvoo area) and throw your hat in the ring. I'm sure there are many folks who'd love to see it not be in Ohio or at some reconstructed village. :/

Lots of events in Kentucky, just not 'vous

Off the top of my head

Bardstown Trade Fair and Rifle Frolic is in April or May

Fort Harrod is usually the weekend after the end of Friendship in June

Fort Boonesborough has a number of events, check the website.

Blue Licks is the same weekend as CLA and it really is a Rendevous that happens to have a battle, not a reenactment per se.

September is the Boonesborough seige

In fact there are so many Kentucky events that anymore the only events I do in Indiana are club shoots and rendevous, all my reenacting is in Kentucky

It's not a rendezvous, but if you want to drive to Elizabethtown, KY on February 1st and 2nd you'll find Bucksnort Longhunters 18th century market fair at the Pritchard Community Center where US 62 and 31-W bypass meet. I don't know if there are any supplies you need to buy, but I bet you'll meet some kindred spirits there.
