I built it if that what you are referring to. If you are asking about the stock finish, I only used an oil finish no stain.

They already are overrun, just not as badly as other manufacturers (yet). The price and the flint only help keep the riff raff away. If they had a percussion cap version, I probably would have bought one instead of the Traditions kit that I bought. Though lack of caps may make me rethink this move, need to find some kind of priming powder around me.
