I just can't let this go on any more. For anyone who pays attention, Jim has told you which Fowler he is going to copy for his next kit. For extra points and a star in situational awareness class, can you name the book and page number he said it was in?
Is this going to be on the test? 🤓

How about the minute mark in the video he spilled the beans in?

Someone recently compiled, in one post, every video link with time stamp and quoted every word from Mr. Kibler posted on this board regarding the upcoming release. Someone ought to make it a sticky, though no one would bother reading it.

Hey Mike, can you get me a left-handed, Kibler, Durs Egg flint lock? I'd pay you a rich finder's fee. I think I'll shoot myself (as you say) before I buy another $%U$)(%$)@#$%%&@#$ L&R lock, and I don't want to subject you to photos of yet another Appalachian Mountain Rifle done up with a Germanic Siler lock.

That was me. I suppose someone else could have done the same in a thread I've not looked in though.

If you saved that post of yours as a text file on your computer desktop and just copy/pasted it to every new "what's Kibler gonna do next" thread that pops up, it might come in real handy and save a lot of typing.

By the way.....anyone got any good blackmail material on Uncle Evil? I feel...hmm, what is it? Oh! Extortion! That's it! "Ve haf vays off mekking you talk"....

Just kidding, Mike, we all know you only know what the next TWO Kibler releases will be....:p

Meh. It's October. Won't be much longer and a mess of us will come home from work to emails and posts on here with the much-awaited pics, pricing, preorders details and whatnots.
Then the next round of what's next can start. That one will drive some of the old timers on here truly nuts. Nothing but vague mentions of maybe a pistol or Hawken/Plains style rifle to go off of.

The book is "Of Sorts For Provincials: American Weapons of the French and Indian War by Jim Mullins. The fowler is pictured on pages 53 and 54 of the book. Jim showed this in his YouTube video "Next Kit, Shop Tours, and FAQ's" starting about 12 minutes into the video. I do not own a copy of the book, but it would be nice if someone who does could post a scan of those two pages. Here is the link to the video:

Attached here is (low resolution) screenshot from the video with the Fowler being referenced.
