Lori from Kibler's told me that they are using USPS now, not UPS any longer, due to a rash of damaged shipments. One even had a tire track over it.
They also removed "Longrifles" from their mailing label; now simply "Kibler's"
My two SMR cases arrived two days ago by USPS in excellent shape and a day early. Perhaps the Post Office has gotten back in order.
As for the quality of Kibler's shipping cases, I don't see how even rough handling could do the damages that are being reported concerning UPS deliveries. I think they are packaged excellently and by good design. One has to wonder if there is direct targeting of firearm merchandise at UPS.

^^here in San Diego where I live its the other way around. UPS hands things off to USPS. Also when they do this it delays delivery by a day or two. Over all with the amount of things I have sent to my house I've had very few problems , and I think they all do a pretty good job. We just tend to remember and dwell on the things they messed up.

Yes, I am. Looking at that photo I could break it with my foot. Build it out of ugly CDX and you wont break it without running it over.
The stuff in the picture is cheap lite weight paint grade ply garbage. Good for the back of a cabinet box and not much else.
Yes, you could break it with your foot - if you propped one end of the case up, and stomped the middle of it with your full weight on that foot... Remember: they not only broke the case, but the stock inside it.

Those cases are plenty strong enough to survive any normal shipping abuse. Whatever happened to that one was obviously nowhere near normal...
