KIK powder

Anybody have any experience with KIK powder?I got a can in a bunch of stuff I bought.Tried it out,seems to shoot well clean,patten about the same as goex.It does kick though a lot sharper than goex even with target loads.

I've never tried it, but have read that it makes higher muzzle volocities than goex. :results: :m2c: :thumbsup:

Also saw on another site "KIK is Back". Is this something that used to be around, then went away for a while?

Its made in slovenia and used to be sold here.Guy I got it from said he picked it up about 5yrs ago at a rendy.

I've never tried it, but I think some of the supply houses still have it. The expert over on the old Shooters board said it lacked some consistency. If I ever need to buy in bulk, I'd probably try some, seeings how that is my ancestry.

I've been using it for a couple of years. I'm satisfied with it. RGML has been buying it for about a buck a can less than Goex.

All of mine is date coded 00 04, or April 04. On the Nor'West Company site, it says that Kik is out of production due to world events, but that may have changed recently. Slovenia is in the same neighborhood as Bosnia and the war there must have caused some problems.

i've never used it though some friends i have shoot
with have and they have never said anything bad about
it. i use Goex and stay with it mainly because i think
i will always be able to get it(i may be naive---i hope not)
