I traded for what I believe is a confederate single pocket knapsack. It looks identical to the one C&D Jarnagin company sells for $550. The gentleman who owned it was a reenactor, as well as a wood worker. That’s why it has fine wood dust on it. Tarred canvas / oilcloth and thick quality leather straps.
