Not by my hand, I wish I were as talented as the guy who made it. I get to take care of it until I pass it to the next care taker at end of life.

That is some lovely workmanship. It looks like something the Dwarves would have made during the Lord of the Ring days. Did he anneal the file and then re-harden and temper it?

Yes, properly tempered etc. This knife was made by Bruce Horne. Son of Pappy Horne, he is known in the CLA family for his work as a horner but he has built somewhere around 120 guns and numerous knives, bags etc.
