L H Harrison

i am thinking of buying a 2nd gen colt cap & ball pistol which was supposedly engraved by L H Harrison. a google of that name takes me to dixie gun works where he is listed as a rifle maker and apparently drew blue-prints for folks to use in making their repros. that's nice to kkonw, but i want to know who he is/was and did he do engraving. anybody know anything?
