Bill Scurlock did a book review ,reads as if your building rifles,, this book is for you.

This exihibit is a must see if anyone is able. I'm hoping to make it down for another look. You will see of the earliest longrifles in existance and some that are being displayed for the first time. Likely when it ends and they do back to the private collectors there's no telling when they will ever come out again.

The book is excellent but not much of a building aid other than the fact the pictures are full color. The photo angles and measurements just aren't adequate to build from. Used in conjuction with other publications and first hand observation it does "contribute" but the "scale" of the guns just can't be judged.

If anybody has an opportunity to see this exihibit and misses it....shame on them! Enjoy, J.D.
