I just got in a fresh batch of leather from my new supplier, The Leather Store. I listed the store in the Vendors showcase forum. These pouches sold so well that I made more. Here’s a new large dark Brown pouch with Antique Brass rivets. The price is still $22.00 + $8.00 s&h USD$ The first batch of these sold out within a few hours of listing. I did not make more of the smaller ones, but if you want some, I will be happy to make them for you. This pouch is made of 5 oz. Vegetable tanned tooling leather, and it’s very rustic/primitive looking. These were NOT made to look mass produced! There is a strap that wraps completely around the pouch then goes through a closure strap for security. I offer my pouches with Antique Nickel Silver rivets, Black Rivets, or Antique Brass rivets. I also have the standard Brass and Shiny Chrome rivets if you want those. I can make these in Black colored leather also. I’ve never been a fan of Black leather, so I didn’t make any to list.
This large pouch measure about 4.5” (4-1/2”) long outside, by approx. 2.5” high inside. There’s room for your flint and steel fire kit, fishing kit, sewing kit or a number of other things you might like to stuff in it. You can carry extra round balls, conical rounds, patching material, tinder, even your tobacco just to name a few options. One customer is using his as a Primitive wallet. He says it’s great for that! Another bought 3 for Christmas gifts.
This is just the ticket for the Mountain Man, Fur Trapper lifestylist. You really need one for any of my above mentioned uses, plus many more! You’re only limited by your imagination. “Show Off” a little at your next encampment; blanket trade session, shoot, or Rendezvous. OR just be a GREAT Santa at Christmas time! If you’re trade session Rondy guy, be the one who pulls his money out of one of these! Don’t hesitate to get one BEFORE they’re gone. Waiting is NEVER a good option. I may make more, and I may not. It depends on how they sell this time around?
I ship/sell to Canada, but all prices are in USD$ to the 50 United states. Shipping outside of the US is costly. Prices will vary accordingly.
I prefer PayPal; and I CANNOT stress this enough, Please, use the PayPal friends option when sending funds! I also accept postal and bank money orders. MO’s will add 1 week for travel time. I ship same day as funds are received, the exceptions are Federal holidays, Sundays, PO hours, and severe weather.
