Here is the end of my 2013 Turkey Season.
Turkey Number THREE!
One in Kentucky and Two here in Ontario.

He isn't the biggest bird in the woods,
but with only two days left (yesterday)
he looked like a monster in full strut.
He isn't the prettiest either as he is soaking wet
after two days of rain that only got worse
after I shot him and he flapped around in a
newly planted corn field.

Spurs and beards are nice, got a bunch of them hanging on strings, haven't figured out how to make a soup with them yet! Good job!

Is that a smooth bore and what caliber/gage is it?
Better looking turkey than I have ever shot at.

Congrats on a great season..
Hunting story?
How many days total did you hunt?
How did you keep you powder dry in the rain?
Nice bird good shooting!

Congratulations, PJC. Any turkey shot with a flintlock is a beautiful bird.
