Hey Hesp.For the future I'd suggest also trying a card wad over powder followed by a lube impregnated felt wad. My reason for saying that is the rifle has relatively deep square bottomed grooves that can delay getting a good seal from the lead deforming and squishing in to fill the corners. That provides the opportunity for gas cutting which with soft lead is typically how gas cutting gets leading started.
